Dune International Art Residency

Dune International Art Residency was born out of a desire to create a flexible, inclusive and original accommodation program in a restored old stone mansion in the Bey neighborhood of Gaziantep’s old city center.

It aims to create a multicultural artist network and to become an art production area.

Dune offers open calls to the group of artists with specific projects and dates. We welcome anyone interested – all artists. This multi-cultural residence program offers art production in the centuries-old stone house.

The vision for the Dune’’ is centered around the co-creation process with intention to break open ones artistic practice to a new level and create new work that the artist may not otherwise create outside the residency.

The program mission is to foster intercultural dialogue and create artist mobility with access to other emerging art worlds in order to promote and encourage a global exchange.

The Project is open to both national and international artists. Artists are selected according to performance, experience and artistic background. Artists working in the visual arts and new media will be considered.

DUNE  intends to enable artists to access the international art market and provide an opportunity to make promising contacts for future projects. We encourage residents to purchase and or bring their own tools/materials for proposed projects.

What started out as a superior idea would be a shared network of experiences and a multifaceted resource network to visit artists and local communities, to promote mutual collaboration and growth.

The city took immigration. The is home to wealty in many ways. This is like a cult movie Casablanca. Those who come here can create dynamic of artistic production.
